Adjust you Secret Spot

Lets adjust your Secret Spots to match “Your Real Surf Conditions”

From the main screen, Tap on the 3 vertical dots on the top left.
Tap on your secret spots (if you don’t have one, tap on add).
After you make one, Tap on the “Adjust Secret Spot”.
You will see 9 sliders starting from the top “Optimal Wind” to Low Tide Factor”.

The top slider, “Optimal Wind” also works with “Optimal Wind Factor slider, more on that later.

Next slider down is “Optimal Swell” move the slider right and left, look at the big circle and watch the Orange, Red and Blue swell buoy data . Notice a white center vertical marker move. This is the center of your best swell window.

The next sliders will adjust the “Secret Spot’s swell by rising or lowering the swell’s buoy data mixed with our algorithm will go up or down 10% for every 0.1 increment.

All starting points for Factor sliders is at 1.0 - you can use this as a starting point for rising or lowering your Secret Spots swells.

The next slider is “Base Factor,” move the slider right and left and watch the Orange, Red and Blue buoy data swell size rise and fall.

The next slider is “Optimal Wave Factor,” move the slider right and left and watch the Red buoy data (your local break) rise and fall.

The next slider is “Optimal Swell Factor,” move the slider right and left and watch the Orange buoy data, the Primary Swell rise and fall.

The next slider down is “Optimal Wind Factor,” which works with the first slider “Optimal Wind” (which moves the blue circle wind direction off or on shore in degrees) - you can move both sliders to work with our algorithm to match the conditions at your beach. The swell size will rise and fall by first adjusting the “Wind Factor” then adjusting the “Optimal Wind” in degrees till you see the rise and fall.

Some breaks work best at High, Mid or Low tides. The following factors will allow you to adjust your Secret Breaks with tide controls.

The next slider is “High Tide Factor,” use this when there is a high tide at your break, move the slider right and left and watch the Orange, Red and Blue swell buoy data rise or fall.

The next slider is “Mid Tide Factor,” use this when there is a Mid tide at your break, move the slider right and left and watch the Orange, Red and Blue swell buoy data rise or fall.

Finally, The last slider is “Low Tide Factor,” use this when there is a Low tide at your break, move the slider right and left and watch the Orange, Red and Blue swell buoy data rise or fall.
