Choosing Locations

Finding locations using Old Man’s Surf Report is very easy. There are two ways to find locations; 1) look for the magnifying glass icon on the upper left hand corner of the main screen of the app and typing in a few letters, and 2) what we are going to cover in this video, is using the pin icon in the upper right hand corner.

Tap on the pin icon in the upper hand corner. This brings you to the map. Using your thumb and index finger you can zoom in and out traveling around the world and choosing exotic locations to view breaking wave data.  

As you zoom in, you will see surf breaks to choose from. As you tap your finger to the surf spot, the name of the break and a surfer appears on the screen. Tap on that surfer and you will travel to that surf break and the main screen with all the swell data at that break.

To find another surf break repeat the above and tap on the pin icon from the main screen.
